Environment — Space & Store Narratives

Immersive Retail Spaces

My work in spatial cinematography is rooted in capturing environments that are as much about storytelling as they are about design. From the opulent corridors of the Sabyasachi flagship store in Kala Ghoda, Mumbai to bespoke boutiques across the country, I’ve explored how luxury spaces breathe identity into a brand. These films don’t just document interiors, they reflect the aura and philosophy that the architecture intends to evoke.

Lighting with Intent

While shooting these high-design spaces, I use light as an invisible collaborator. My approach balances natural ambiance with carefully placed supplementary lighting, ensuring the integrity of the space remains untouched. Every frame is designed to enhance the textures, tones, and moods of the interiors, whether it’s velvet-clad walls, vintage chandeliers, or handcrafted flooring, without disrupting their original essence.

Cinematography That Respects Design

Each space is filmed with a quiet sensitivity, slow-moving camera work, restrained compositions, and subtle shifts in focus bring alive not just the visual but the emotional language of the space. The goal is never to overpower the design, but to translate it faithfully to screen, inviting the viewer to experience the space in its most cinematic, yet truthful, form.
